About Sarris Candies
Sarris Candies is a family-owned business that started when Frank Sarris want to impress his future wife, Athena with a box of chocolates. He began making small batches of chocolate for friends and family in the basement of their Canonsburg, PA home. By 1963, he had opened a candy shop next to his home, and in 1979, he opened an old-fashioned ice cream parlor.
Today, Sarris Candies is a major business employing over 350 people, and their factory, ice cream parlor and storefront cover an area the size of a full city block.
Frank Sarris passed away in 2010, but his legacy lives on through his family, who is committed to continuing the legacy of Frank and his dedication to high-quality product and exceptional customer service.

Very limited seating but there is seating outside as long as it doesn't rain! The ice cream sundaes were excellent. Would recommend a small sundae cause the regular is massive!

I got tutti fruitti ice cream creation yesterday, July 14, 2026. Great to eat real ice cream with pineapple, strawberry and bananas. This place is an artistic wonderland. It's gorgeous inside. The ice cream menu is extensive. Most are 10 to 14 dollars so bring 20 dollars if you're by self. Yummy ice cream.

The ice cream is so yummy! Definitely big enough to share! I recommend buying the chocolate hard shell dip for strawberries it is so yummy!

I recently stopped by Sarris Candies and had a great experience. The store is beautiful, with so many candies, chocolates, and treats to choose from. I also love that they have an ice cream parlor, which makes it a fun stop for the whole family. The staff was friendly, and everything was well organized and clean. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a sweet treat or a unique gift. I’ll definitely be back!

Always enjoy coming here. This place is the go-to one stop shop for all things sweet. Glad to have it so close by. If you're driving down the 79 stop by and grab a cone or your favorite chocolate! They have literally everything you could ever imagine. Talk about a true chocolate factory.
